    Severe Weather Pet Alert

    January 22, 2026

Imagine your fluffy pup turning into a shivering popsicle, paws high-stepping through the snow like it’s lava, or your kitty burrowing under every blanket in sight, plotting a feline coup for the heater—welcome to Wisconsin winter extremes, where wind chills are diving to minus 38°F this weekend and making even the toughest doggos do the dramatic paw-lift dance! Meanwhile, those brutal summer scorches we know all too well have pets panting like they’ve run a marathon in fuzzy sweaters, tongues lolling out comically as they flop dramatically on cool tiles, begging for mercy from the heat that turns sidewalks into paw-fryers. Right now, as Milwaukee braces for this arctic blast…

The Kritters in Hot Temps & Vehicles

    June 16, 2022

The Summer brings so many outdoor activities, places to travel to, and often – HOT temperatures!  Lets take some time to go over some tips on heat exhaustion/Stroke and hot cars to help prevent our kritters from feeling crummy or dangerously ill.
